(1)傳送前儲存條件：
採檢後以室溫立即傳送，如無法立即傳送請保存於4℃冰箱，24小時內以低溫傳送。

(2)檢體上機(檢驗)前儲存條件：
收到檢體後暫時保存於4℃冰箱中，血液檢體當天進行離心，保存於4℃冰箱中最多7天。

(3)檢驗後檢體儲存條件：
剩餘檢體，保存於-70℃冰箱中至少一年或無剩餘檢體時則保存萃取後的DNA

提供檢體是否含Cytomegalovirus DNA之檢測，不適合作為診斷Cytomegalovirus感染狀態使用。

12.臨床意義 |
健康人檢體中不具有Cytomegalovirus DNA檢驗結果應為Not detected。若檢驗結果為Positive則表示檢體中含有Cytomegalovirus DNA。

報告備註:
1. Method: Real-time PCR
2. Target gene: DNA polymerase gene of CMV
3. The sensitivity and specificity against cell culture are 91.7% and 91.1%, respectively.
4. Interpretation: This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Van et al, (J Clin Microbiol. 2003 Feb;41(2):576-80). A negative result indicates that CMV DNA was not detected; however it does not exclude infection or disease. Low levels of infection or sampling variability may cause a false-negative result. A positive result indicates the presence of CMV DNA in the sample tested.
